Having spent 24 years in the RAF as an Intelligence Analyst – I left the military in 2007 to get a proper job. This saw me initially working as a trainer at a Microsoft Academy where I had a great time and learned a whole load of stuff about Microsoft and associated technology.
After several years I decided to fly solo and became a training consultant dealing with network, network security and Microsoft infrastructure and during this time amassed a whole depth of knowledge and experience working with a wide range of industries (from small business to large enterprise)
My passion for all-things security led me down the technical routes of ethical hacking, incident handling and finally into the world of forensics where I now find myself.
I am a permanent instructor for Firebrand Training UK and since 2014 I have been directly involved in the development and running of foundation and advanced practitioner level intelligence, investigation and analysis courses in support of the UK Law Enforcement agencies. This is also alongside my core EC Council, Microsoft, CompTIA and BCS Courses.
I continue to lead on Cyber Security training development and have more recently moved into the development of Cyber Security Technician and Technologist Apprenticeships with Firebrand who are one of the UK biggest and best suppliers of apprenticeships.
If you are interested in any of the subjects or training in any of these areas – give me a nudge.
